The Copa 3 Clubs-la Caixa is back with the regatta Yatess A2 from Palma to Horadada and Capdepera

The Real Club Nautico de Palma will organise from the 20 to 22 of September the second edition of the regatta Yatess A2, the last coastal race that qualifies for the Copa 3 Clubs - La Caixa.

Ten boats have entered the race up to date, although the organisers are expecting around fifteen boats on the starting line.

The offshore race this year will be 130 nautical miles distance. The fleet will depart in the Bay of Palma and head the island of Horadada, situated on the island of Cabrera, then head to the light house of Capdepera, where the fleet will sail around a mark layed in front of the light house and back to Palma.

Martín Aizcorbe, responsable of the firm Yatess.com and promoter of the regatta, explaisn that their wish is to change the course every year, turning every year in a different challenge for this two doublé handed regatta. Last year the Yatess a Dos sailed to Faralló de Albarca, at Artà, and Aizcorbe is hoping to send the regatta in 2014 to the islas Columbretes.

The ORC fleet will take the start on Friday the 20th of September at 17:00.

This Copa 3 Clubs-La Caixa, has the support of Dyreco, Bodegas José Luis Ferrer, Gbcom, Mar Blau, Olimpic by GP, Gaceta Náutica and Yatess, and has a program of 9 races, 5 of them Inshore and 4 of them offshore for doublé handed crew boats.
