The II Vuelta a Mallorca A3 to begin next 31 of May.
The II Sailing Round Mallorca - 3 handed crew, comes back to consolidate the success of the past first edition. The regatta, which is to sail around Mallorca non stop and three handed crew is programed to start at 12.00 h on the 31rst of May.
The basic rules are to: have three handed crew on board and sail the course of 150 nautical miles nonstop. The way to round the island will be decided the day before the start, depending on the weather forecast.
The invited classes are those boats with a ORC or ORC club certificates whose GPH is under 720 seconds/mile.
Two Match, of Eduardo Horrach, is the winner of the first edition sailed last year, out of 15 competitors and after surviving some difficult sailing conditions due to the bad weather conditions.
The Alzira Moraira, 23 meters long, of Asemet Consultores, sailed the fastest around mallorca last year with 20 hours, 16 minutes and 26 seconds.
