Joan Cardona wins the Campeonato de Mallorca, in Laser 4.7 class.

The Real Club Náutico de Palma dinghy classes representatives did a good job at the Campeonato de Mallorca - Trofeo Block House, event organised by the Club Náutico s'Arenal. The competition suffered bad weather conditions on the first racing day and only three days were sailed out of four. (3, 9 and 10 Febuary).

The most numerous class to compete has been the Laser 4.7 class with 35 boats on the starting line. The RCNP's representatives lead the overall results in this class. Joan Cardona, one of the youngest sailors from the RCNP easily won three races sailed out of four. The second place was for Toni Salvà, followed by his other team mate, Pedro Bover, both from the Náutico de Palma.

Aina Bauzà (also from the RCNP) finished first in the girls category in Laser Radial class and fourth in the overall results, won by Óscar Lacoma of the CN s'Arenal.

The 420 class also gathered quite a nice number of sailors. 25 crews all of them dominated by Enric Noguera and Marc Capó of the Club de Vela Puerto de Andratx followed by Luis Mas and Juan Armeñanzas of the Real Club Náutico de Palma who offered a nice match race finally won by Noguera and Capó. Fernando Villalonga and Víctor Maimó followed by finishing in third place, (also from Andratx).
