Carnaval Trophy raced with strong winds at the RCNP

The Trofeo Carnaval organised by the Real Club Náutico de Palma (RCNP) ended today sunday tenth febrero, where the winners have been KS, of Matías Gil and Neus Poncell (ORC1); Lost Horizon, of Dave Hanna (ORC2); and Ibe-Tres Mares, of María Campins (ORC3-4), with a complicated strong wind and sea conditions on this last racing day. Although some crew and skippers did want to participate in the disguise contest organised for this special occasion and sailed wearing their disguise.

After the race and during the prize giving ceremony a disguise contest took place for the Carnaval trophy, where the best disguised skipper of the boat Sevens was given to Pepe Cernuda, who represented a very realistic pirate! The best disguised crew trophy was given to the crew of Xalest, representing a peculiar figure of Siurells, and finally in third place the vikings of the s/y Just4Fun.
