Pro-Rigging wins the Trofeo de Invierno for one design classes.
The Pro-Rigging (RCNP), owned by Javier Sanz, lead and won the trophy held on the 16 of Febuary, named the Trofeo de Invierno for one design boats. This event organised by the Real Club Náutico de Palma received 16 boats of the following one design classes: J80, Flying Fifteen and Dragón.
The J80 owned by Sanz won with a 2nd, 1rst and 3rd places with two points advantage on the second place by Jade (RCNP), of Dirk Euler and Bernat Ripoll. The third place was for Bodegas José Luis Ferrer (Club Nàutic S'Arenal), owned by María Garau Juan.
The race was predominated by a southwestern soft wind that blew constantly (never more than 7 knots of intensity) in the bay of Palma and made it possible for the race committee to sail all the program for the day.
The victory in the Flying Fifteen class has been for David Barber, with his boat named Fine Fettle, and Thalatta in Dragon (CNLR), owned by Thomas Tillbert.
The prize giving ceremony and a bbq was held at the end of the competition day in the Sala Magna of the Real Club Náutico de Palma.
