The Memorial Pep Tomás will be part of PalmaVela
The Trofeo Memorial Pep Tomas, one of the most important offshore regattas in our country will be held this year on the 26, 27 and 28 of April and be part of the PalmaVela program organised by the Real Club Náutico de Palma.
This historical regatta founded in 1968 and qualifying event for the national championship in the eighties will now have a prominent place in the regatta calendar of the Real Club Náutico de Palma having been moved just before PalmaVela.
The original course to be sailed will be of 150 miles from Palma, to Tagomago, Cabrera and back to Palma, is a very interesting course to sail for the foreign boats coming to PalmaVela.
Giving this way the opportunity to any PalmaVela participant to sail the Trofeo Memorial Pep Tomas, the event has been opened to ORC and IRC, inviting the big boat lengths to try out for this event.
The prize giving ceremony of the Trofeo Memorial Pep Tomas will take place on the 5th of may, 2013 during the closing ceremony of PalmaVela.
